Terms and conditions

Ordering

All items listed in my shop are in stock and ready to ship. This means I will post out your order to you within 24-48 hours of placing your order. The only exception to this is for personalised creatures, which usually take 2-4 weeks to ship.

Unless otherwise stated in the listing, orders are shipped out by first class post within the UK, and by airmail post elsewhere. Both services are untracked. Tracked and insured services are available for an extra charge.

All wee creatures come securely packaged in bubble wrap, tissue paper and a sturdy box with a signed certificate. In the unlikely event of a breakage in transit prior to delivery, please return the damaged item, together with the original packaging, and I will either refund you the purchase price, or provide a replacement if possible. For one-off commissions, only a refund will be offered.

If there are any issues at all with your wee creature, please get in touch and I will do my best to resolve matters.

Visit my main website for more information about how I work, and additional FAQs.

Materials used

I work only with polymer clay, which is a sculptable material based on PVC. It is non-toxic and can be handled safely, worn next to the skin, and perched on top of cakes. I spend a lot of time preparing and finishing the clay to ensure a pristine finish. I hand-blend the clay to mix colours (I don't use paints), and I also create all my own millefiori canes to achieve the perfect finish. All accessories held by the wee creatures, like the roses, balloons and signs, are also made with the same care and attention to detail. I use semi-precious black onyx beads for the eyes, and where necessary, I use wire armature to strengthen the paws and tail. Most wee creatures have a matt finish because I think it's more tactile, but some, like the Moles, Snails and Moodlings are finished with gloss or satin varnish to enhance the patterns and colours.
